We are seeking a proficient Financial Analyst to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis in Singapore. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in managing financial and regulatory reporting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards. This role will report to Head of Finance, SEA in Singapore.
We are open to considering a Senior Finance Analyst if you have more solid relevant experience.
Duties
The Finance Analyst will play a key role in supporting regulatory compliance and financial reporting functions. Responsibilities include preparing MAS returns, ensuring accuracy in external and internal reporting, and conducting data analysis to support decision-making. This role requires strong attention to detail, adherence to regulatory guidelines, and collaboration with stakeholders across functions to ensure seamless reporting and compliance.
Key Deliverables
- MAS Regulatory Reporting: Prepare and submit MAS regulatory returns in compliance with applicable guidelines.
- Financial & Management Reporting: Assist in preparing monthly reports to support internal and external reporting submissions and requirements.
- Data Accuracy & Analysis: Ensure financial data accuracy, perform reconciliations, and identify discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Support automation initiatives and workflow enhancements for more efficient reporting.
- Audit & Tax Compliance: Assist in audits, tax computations, and other regulatory submissions.
- Ad Hoc Tasks & Projects: Support any operational tasks when required and handle additional responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years in accounting or audit profession, with at least 2 years of experience in insurance industry
- Proficiency in financial reporting, data analysis, and advanced Excel skills; familiarity with MAS regulatory requirements.
- Experience managing MAS returns and working in insurance industry. Auditors with insurance industry auditing experience are welcome.
