In Atradius you will build up expertise within a number of trade sectors (among them; construction, travel and sectors within the green economy) and be responsible for reviewing the existing Surety portfolio of customers and requests from new customers.

The job includes financial and industry sector analysis, applying underwriting principles and procedures to support a new risk or modify an existing strategy on a surety customer. You will work out of Stockholm in the Swedish Surety team of 5 people, as part of an international surety organization in Atradius. 

We expect applicants to have: 

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics or other relevant field with good exam results
• Experience is an advantage, but we do encourage Graduates with strong academic results to apply
• An analytical mind and ability to learn fast
• Curiousity and understanding of viewing the broad perspective of a case
• Interest in credit risk analysis of complex financial statements
• Personal integrity and feel comfortable taking decisions in a dynamic environment
• Wish to proactively manage credit risk on a portfolio of customers, also those with financial difficulties
• A good understanding of Swedish, Nordic and international economy and ability to interpret trends
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English

Requirements:

The ability to focus on service to customers is a key requirement, and the successful candidate will be able to clearly demonstrate a positive attitude and proactive approach. Strong communication skills are pivotal to the role, including the ability to discuss complex risk issues confidently with a forward-looking view (internally as well as externally). 

The successful candidate will be able to assimilate information and process workflow quickly and arrive at decisions promptly without detriment to quality. An ability to work within a team environment is key, but candidates should also be confident to work independently.
