Unit / Team

The Information Technology Services (ITS) division is responsible for providing IT solutions across the Atradius Group. Within ITS, the Finance Compliance Unit is responsible for maintaining and continuously enhancing Atradius Group’s finance and risk applications such as Solvency II and IFRS 17.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our team responsible for maintaining and enhancing four critical enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies with particular focus on Java and JavaScript ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and develop features across our application portfolio
• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Support application upgrades and migrations, particularly JBoss server upgrade
• Document code changes and technical specifications
• Collaborate with team members to implement best practices and technical solutions

Job requirements

Technical Requirements:

• Strong experience with Java 8, Spring Boot, and Maven
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Ajax, and jQuery
• Experience with Oracle JavaScript Extension Toolkit (Oracle JET)
• Knowledge of JSF (Java Server Faces) for web application development
• Experience with EJB (Enterprise JavaBeans), JMS (Java Message Service), and Hibernate ORM
• Familiarity with JBoss application server (specifically version 7.4) and experience with server upgrades
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
• Version control experience (Git preferred)
• Database design and SQL query optimization
• Experience with Agile development methodologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with newer Java versions (Java 11+)
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• CI/CD pipeline implementation experience
• Performance optimization techniques for enterprise applications
• Security implementation best practices

Soft Skills:

• Initiative and self-reliance, with a proactive attitude towards problem-solving

Languages:

• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Spanish is a desired.

Travel:

• Willingness to travel approximately 10%.
